ZOXAN D EYE DROP

Overview

Zoxan-D Eye Drops is a combination ophthalmic preparation containing Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic) and Dexamethasone (corticosteroid). Ciprofloxacin fights bacterial infections of the eye by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, while Dexamethasone reduces associated inflammation, redness, and swelling.

It is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial eye infections where inflammation is also present.

⚖️ Strength/Dosage Form:

Eye Drops (commonly Ciprofloxacin 0.3% + Dexamethasone 0.1%)

Pack size: 5 ml or 10 ml sterile bottle

✅ Indication:

Bacterial conjunctivitis with inflammation

Blepharitis (infection of eyelids)

Post-operative eye infection and inflammation management

Other ocular bacterial infections as directed by physician
