VISOMER EYE OINTMENT

Overview

Visomer Eye Ointment is a topical ophthalmic ointment used to lubricate, protect, and soothe dry or irritated eyes. It forms a protective barrier over the ocular surface, helping to retain moisture, relieve dryness, redness, and irritation, and support healing of minor corneal injuries.

It is commonly used in patients with dry eye syndrome, post-operative eye care, or minor eye irritation.

⚖️ Strength/Dosage Form:

Ophthalmic Ointment (usually 3–5 g sterile tube)

Topical ocular application

✅ Indication:

Relief of dry eye symptoms

Protection of eyes from irritation or minor injuries

Post-surgical ocular care

Supportive therapy for corneal healing

⚠️ Note:

Avoid contamination of the ointment tube

Use under medical supervision if infection is suspected
