ALMETAMIN 2.25mg

Overview

Almetamin contains Ranitidine 2.25 mg (or similar H2 blocker depending on manufacturer), used to reduce stomach acid production. It works by blocking histamine H2 receptors in the stomach lining, thereby decreasing acid secretion.

It is commonly prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and dyspepsia.

⚖️ Strength/Dosage Form:

Tablet: 2.25 mg (Note: verify if 2.25 mg is the correct marketed strength; typical adult doses are usually 150 mg or 300 mg)
